The Chargers Parent Organization sponsors fundraising events and coordinates volunteer opportunities and endeavors to provide financial resources to support St. Joseph School academic, extracurricular and athletic activities for the benefit of our students. All parents and guardians of St. Joseph students are welcomed and encouraged to participate in this organization and to be part of the decision-making process involved in achieving our goals. Children reap immeasurable benefits when parents are actively involved in their school lives. The Chargers meet the first Monday of each month at 6 or 7 p.m. in the Leadership and Learning Lounge.
Some of the many areas the Chargers have funded in recent years include new carpeting in the primary wing, renovation of the gymnasium, wireless networking throughout the building, laptops for all of the teachers, Macbook and iPad labs, and materials and equipment for fine arts and athletic programs.
The Chargers two main fundraisers are the Charger Challenge in the fall and Shamrock in the spring. Watch for more information on these events!
